Energy for the future

Last week, Colossus Logistics GmbH & Co. KG transported two 40' HC containers (dimensions: 12.20 × 2.44 × 2.90 m; weight: 32.8 t) containing battery storage units (UN3536 / Class 9).

The containers were transported from Germany to Denmark. The battery storage units are used to store energy from renewable sources.

One of the two vehicles completed its maiden voyage. The company now has three vehicles in its fleet that are designed to transport battery storage units weighing over 30 tonnes.
