Impetus for more efficient approval

On Thursday, Paul Schmitt, freight forwarding manager and authorized signatory at our BIGMOVE AG partner Spedition Gutmann GmbH & Co. KG, gave an exciting and informative presentation at the 1st DMZ Short Sea Conference at the German Maritime Center in Hamburg. The focus was on the differences between the approval situations in Germany and France. It became clear that the long-term and, in some cases, simplified approval processes in France could serve as a possible model for Germany.
This assessment met with great interest among the participants. The audience consisted of representatives from the wind energy industry, freight forwarding companies, politics, and administration. The presentation clearly showed that long-term and clearly structured approval processes—as practiced in France—can create planning security and facilitate projects.
