Montbéliard Project – Full Steam Ahead for the Energy Transition!

For the past three weeks, Spedition Gutmann GmbH & Co. KG has been transporting five wind turbines for the project in Montbéliard. In addition to heavy-haul transport by road, the teams are coordinating water transport from Antwerp to Neuf-Brisach by barge, as well as handling all route planning and access to the challenging construction site.

The combination of inland waterway transport and road transport reduces heavy truck traffic, protects the environment, and ensures efficient project logistics. This is thanks to the efficient collaboration between Spedition Gutmann France and its inland waterway shipping subsidiary, Inter Barge Shipping (IBS).
