Safe transport of hazardous goods Colossus Logistics GmbH & Co. KG successfully transported six 20' HC containers (35 tonnes each) with built-in lithium-ion batteries from Hamburg to Moers. Thanks to the cooperation with Gustav Seeland GmbH and SCT Schwergut und Container Transporte GmbH, all containers were moved on schedule in just one day. The biggest challenge in this project was to provide enough ADR-trained drivers and appropriately equipped vehicles for the transport of dangerous goods at the planned time. Colossus Logistics GmbH & Co. KG recognised the growing demand in the ADR sector of heavy goods transport years ago, invested accordingly with foresight, and qualified and equipped both drivers and vehicles specifically for these requirements.
