Two 37-ton skids securely packed for worldwide transport

Colossus Logistics GmbH & Co. KG worked directly at the customer's site and professionally preserved and packaged two large skids. The two skids each measure 6.20 × 4.25 × 3.71 m and weigh 37 tons. They were packed in 300 μ thick LDPE film. First, the skids were professionally padded to provide optimum protection for sensitive components.

They were then shrink-wrapped in tear-resistant LDPE film to ensure safe transport. In addition, powerful desiccants were used to ensure reliable corrosion prevention.

The result: maximum protection against moisture, corrosion, and weathering – ideal for transport on open vehicles and for demanding sea freight.
